Lasting organisational change requires us to find and replace downward spirals with virtuous cycles. However, organisations are complex, and no single person can see everything. Failing to tackle these downward spirals can lead to pains across the organisation, and particularly within IT: failing projects, increasing costs, reducing trust with the business and attrition. Thankfully, it is surprisingly easy to find and uproot downward spirals patterns, removing all pains in one fell swoop.
