How Graph Data Science is pushing new boundaries
Watch the full recording of the discussion with Paco Nathan, Managing Partner of Derwen Inc., Dan McCreary, Distinguished Engineer from Optum and Dr. Alessandro Negro, Chief Scientist at GraphAware.
We live in a connected world where decisions and predictions about how best to operate need to take multiple factors and relationships into account. While much is being made of traditional AI and ML approaches, Graph Data Science is shaping up to become a greater key contributor to the toolbox of being able to explore and unlock more insights and accurate predictions for highly complex cases. There have also been a number of innovations over the last decade or so, and more so recently, which continues to further push new boundaries. This is what our panel will look to dive into and explore.
Joining us in this discussion is Paco Nathan, Lead OSS Committer, Advisor on AI/Data Science/Graph and Managing Partner at Derwen Inc., Dan McCreary, Distinguished Engineer from Optum, and Dr. Alessandro Negro, Chief Scientist at GraphAware .
Dr. Alessandro Negro is immensely passionate about computer science, data research & specializes in natural language processing, recommendation engines, fraud detection, and graph-aided search.
After pursuing Computer Engineering academically & working in various capacities in the domain, he pursued a Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Science and Technology. With his interest in graph databases peaking, he founded a company called Reco4 which was an open-source project developing a recommendation framework based on graph data sources.
Now, he is Chief Scientist at GraphAware. With clients such as LinkedIn, World Economic Forum, European Space Agency, and Bank of America, GraphAware is singularly focused on helping clients gain a competitive edge by transforming their data into searchable, understandable & actionable knowledge. He spends his time leading research for Hume – GraphAware Knowledge Graph platform -, speaking at various conferences around the world and working on the next book.
